As an architect, my primary goal is to help clients navigate construction and renovation projects in a way that is transparent, predictable, and ultimately a satisfying experience. Some clients start with a well formed vision; for others it takes dialogue to elicit the vision.  Either way my job is to use drawing and communication to articulate that vision and help guide it into built form.

I have worked as an architect in Seattle for almost 20 years. In that time I have been involved in a wide variety of projects including new homes and renovations, as well as commercial and public agency projects. This variety of work has afforded me the opportunity to develop skills in design, communication and project management.

I am inspired by designs that are simple, clean, efficient, and a creative use of space. I seek a design process that is similarly clean, efficient and creative, drawing upon traditional methods and the newest technologies as needed to design and communicate. Throughout the process I strive for a collaborative relationship with clients, consultants, builders and officials, leveraging the skills and talents of the entire team to achieve the best for every project.
